We are looking for a competent Assistant Front Office Manager to support the director in departmental planning and monitoring progress. You will also be working to enhance productivity and ensure compliance with rules and regulations. Assistant directors are well-versed in performance and operations management and competent in assuming delegated duties. They are leaders and critical thinkers, ready to solve problems before they become obstacles. The goal is to help the department attain objectives of productivity and employee satisfaction. The Assistant Director will assist with overseeing the Asst. Guest Experience Managers, Supervisors, Front Desk Agents and Bell persons.

Front Desk Agent

Overview: Front Desk Agents are responsible for providing a five-star welcome and departure experience to each guest, as well as, serving as ambassadors throughout the guest’s stay. Front Desk Agents make the first impression upon our guests by extending a warm welcome, providing information about the hotel and local area, and offering our full range of upscale hotel amenities and services to them. Front Desk Agents are also responsible for settling guest accounts upon check-out, resolving guest issues and completing special requests. They work closely with all hotel departments especially our Concierge, Bell-Door and Ideal Services teams.

The kitchen staff objective is to ensure that the entire kitchen is maintained to a very high level of cleanliness and organization. The kitchen staff is also to be friendly and courteous to one another and to the front of the house. You will also provide crucial assistance to the entire service staff in order to enhance our guest experience. You need to ensure the final outcome of each prep item by following recipes, rotation, and food handling procedures according to our standards. Minimize accidents by adhering to safety standards. i.e.: proper lifting procedures, using proper cutlery, wearing non-slip shoes, using oven mitts or clean, dry towels, etc.

This position is for someone who wishes to make Hospitality their career. The Leader In Development (LID) program is a Management Training Program directed to entry level candidates with a Bachelors Degree or equivalent to develop their management skills by training them in all aspects of Housekeeping and Rooms Division operations. The person selected will spend a portion of their time working in other departments of the hotel. This position is intended to last for one year so candidates must be able to relocate upon completion of the program.
