The Seasonal Bartender is responsible for providing beverage service to the Pool Bar guests in a prompt and courteous manner while maintaining a high level of quality and consistency. Ensure 100% Guest satisfaction and high-quality guest relations while projecting Radisson Blu Hotel's standards of service practicing the Yes I Can! Behaviors every day with every guest interaction and professional hospitality at all times.

Provides prompt quality service to customers of pool bar by preparing beverages and serving guests in accordance with Hotel standards
  • Must be able to be outside for up to 8 hours in a day
  • Provides service by suggesting a cocktail/wine or non-alcoholic beverage, recommending promotional items and up-selling to premium products as appropriate
  • Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of beverage recipes, mixing procedures, glassware, garnishes, etc
  • Prepares drinks in accordance with the guest's order
  • Adhere to established pouring standards and drink recipes to provide a consistent product to the guests and to control costs
  • Maintains knowledge of bar inventory and wine selection to respond properly to customer questions
  • Set up bar including all liquor, mixers, ice, garnishes, glassware and supplies
  • Stocks and orders all supplies and glassware; displays beverages in an attractive fashion
  • Inventory unused liquor and beverages, ensure that all liquor is properly secured before, during, and at close of shift
  • Ensures the proper and adequate set-up of bars.
  • Stocks beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce based on projections from the daily functions sheet.
  • Mixes garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control.
  • Inspect bar daily for cleanliness and attractiveness and inspect all equipment and machinery for proper operation


Adheres to legal and/or Radisson Blu policies and standards
  • Understands and follows the laws and guidelines for beverage service
  • Checks guests for proper identification, manages method of payment, and serves alcohol according to State, Federal and corporate liquor regulations.
  • Alert Management of any service and/or safety issues
  • Handles cash, checks and/or credit cards in accordance with Hotel policies


Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Radisson Blu experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of, genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations
  • Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service
  • Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems
  • Provides Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
  • Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction
  • Performs other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality


Performs other duties as required by Management to provide 100% Guest Satisfaction and genuine hospitality to our Guest.

Jim AldermanChief Executive Officer: Jim Alderman is the Chief Executive Officer, Americas for Radisson Hotel Group and is based in the company’s U.S. headquarters in Minnetonka, Minn. Alderman is responsible for the corporate offices and more than 680 hotels in the company’s portfolio throughout the Americas. He is also a member of the U.S. Board of Directors for Radisson Hotel Group. With more than 34 years of experience in hospitality real estate, Alderman has an extensive background in hotel and restaurant development, private equity fund investment, management contracts, franchises, public/private partnerships and investor relations. He most recently, he served as Executive Vice President for Extended Stay America (ESA), where he was instrumental in driving the company’s franchising strategy. In just 18 months, he took ESA from zero to 150 franchise deals. He was responsible for their next-generation product through new construction and franchise sales, and asset management of existing real estate portfolio, as well as acquisitions/disposition, and future redevelopment. Alderman joined ESA from Kimpton Hotels where he was the Chief Development Officer. Prior to joining Kimpton, he held various senior leadership positions with Wyndham, Starwood Capital, IHG and Ernst & Young. Throughout his career, Alderman has been involved in the acquisition, development, joint venture, and financing of over $15 billion of hotel real estate projects globally.
