Job Description

 Summary: 

Looking for a reliable and friendly Guest Room Attendant to join our hospitality team in order to provide superb customer service to our guests. Duties will include ensuring that assigned rooms are fully stocked, cleaned, and serviced to a high standard. Should also be able to resolve guest complaints and queries promptly and in a polite manner. 

To be successful as a Room Attendant they must be honest, pleasant, and have detailed knowledge of, and comply with, all housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Greeting guests and responding to queries. 
  • Changing bed linen and making beds. 
  • Replacing used towels and other bathroom amenities, such as shampoo and soap.  
  • Cleaning bathrooms up to hotel standards 
  • Sweeping and mopping floors. 
  • Vacuuming carpets. 
  • Dusting and polishing furniture. 
  • Emptying trash containers and ashtrays. 
  • Restocking beverages and food items in the minibar. 
  • Cleaning public areas, such as corridors. 
  • Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs. 
  • Updating status of guest rooms on the assignment sheet. 
  • Returning and restocking cleaning cart at shift end. 

Job Requirements

 Requirements: 

  • High school diploma, preferred. 
  • Previous guest service and/or housekeeping experience. 
  • Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and products. 
  • Flexible working hours. 
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards. 
  • Physical mobility and stamina. 
  • Ability to follow instructions. 
  • Professional and polite.

Michele KlineChief Operating OfficerMichele has over two decades of experience in the Hospitality & Service Industries. She has a proven track record of having developed and repositioned many operations within some of the finest brands in the United States and South America. She successfully held a position as Regional Vice President of Operations at one of the largest managed services companies in the United States. Most recently, Michele was General Manager for three resorts in Las Vegas, NV. Being Kaizen, Total Quality Management and Six Sigma certified, has enabled her to efficiently redesign processes and procedures, with outstanding results throughout her career. Her attention to detail in every aspect of the operation, has made her stand out in the industry. As a respected builder and leader of customer-focused teams; she constantly instills a shared and enthusiastic commitment to customer service, as a key driver of company goal attainment. Michele is responsible for the overall operations coast to coast, across all divisions. She brings a forward-thinking approach to the company’s growth strategy, accompanied by innovative ways to excel amongst the competition. She is driven by the passion to inspire others and promote collaboration.
Cristian LongoChief Executive OfficerCristian Longo brings a wealth of operational and leadership experience to Link Hospitality and its subsidiaries. Under his leadership, Link Hospitality has rapidly set a benchmark for service quality and customer support in the markets were the company has been established. In his current role, Cristian is responsible for the company’s growth and operations in the United States. Cristian has over 20 years of experience in the cleaning and hospitality industries. Cristian’s career starts in 2001 when he migrated to the United States to pursue his endeavors and look for better opportunities. His first job was that of a night porter in a staffing company, where he worked through the assignments with increasing responsibility until he reached the position of Director of Operations.
