Job Overview

The Spa Coordinator is responsible for the scheduling of spa appointments, greeting and escorting the guests to treatment areas, all while providing information concerning Spa services, treatments, and products. This individual will also provide support in communicating spa incentives, guest requests and programs to all departments related to the transaction.

Responsibilities

  • Answer telephones in friendly and courteous manner, providing information, schedule appointments and taking the necessary notes.
  • Greets and welcomes all guests entering the spa/salon in a timely and professional manner.
  • Checks guests in for their appointments.
  • Complete payment transactions prior or post a guest's spa/salon treatment
  • Assist in the professional and clean image of all spa and surrounding facilities
  • Acts as a resource for all services, treatments and policies of the spa, including cancellation policy, service charges, retail items, treatment procedures, etc.

Compensation:

$15.88 / Hour

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Education/Formal Training

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

One-year related customer service experience, preferably in a luxury spa or hotel setting

Knowledge/Skills

Must be detail oriented and have excellent communication skills
Previous experience in the spa or salon industry preferred
Previous customer service and cash handling experience required
Industry related certifications or education a plus

Jason AltbergerChief Investment OfficerJason Altberger is Sage Hospitality’s Chief Investment Officer and leads Sage’s continued growth in the real estate investment market, targeting urban lifestyle hotels and developments that align with the company’s vision within the United States. Jason joins Sage after 18 years at real estate private equity firm DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners where he spent the final eight years of his tenure as Managing Director. In this role, he was responsible for a range of assets and investment opportunities and served as an investment committee member for both the US and China funds. He held previous positions with real estate merchant bank Cheslock, Bakker & Associates and the New York office of accounting firm Price Waterhouse. Jason received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University, magna cum laude, and an MBA from The Wharton School of Business with highest distinction. He is also a licensed CPA, he is an avid runner and serves on the board of a charter school in New Jersey.
