Local. Unscripted. Independent. The Williamsburg Hotel is an independent lifestyle boutique hotel located in the middle of the action and on the stoop of local hotspots, from entertainment to culture. We are looking for a Marketing Manager to develop and promote online and offline programs who has knowledge of the various pathways of communication to maximize on brand outreach to both the global and local audience. The Marketing Manager is responsible to market the hotel as well as the Food and Beverage outlets at the hotel. The Marketing Manager should be knowledgeable about The Williamsburg neighborhood with key accounts both in Brooklyn and Manhattan. 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the hotel website, third party sites, as well as OTA have properly managed content such as visuals and copy
  • Initiate an annual marketing plan and preparation of budget with Hotel Manager
  • Meet annual marketing goals if not exceed them 
  • Manage initiatives for paid ads on Facebook and Instagram 
  • Closely monitor and ensure that the website is current and accurate on events, specials, and packages
  • Work closely with the Sales department to create packages, specials and promotions which are on brand and meeting revenue goals as well as reaching new audiences
  • Support F&B and Events teams with digital presence as well as promotions from creation to execution and communications
  • Cooperate and communicate with operations and ownership teams in addition to weekly productive meetings 
  • Oversee photoshoots and film shoot requests upon owners' approval
  • Generate comprehensive recaps for key initiatives 
  • Ability to design all hotel communications such as flyers, signs, email blasts
  • Attend all high-profile events hosted in the hotel
  • Oversee all media/PR requests pertaining to the hotel as well as the F&B outlets 
  • Develop partnerships as well as maintain partnerships thus furthering brand awareness and brand audience

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of direct hotel experience as a Marketing Manager
  • Experience with InDesign
  • Works well under pressure 
  • Keen eye for detail, speed and accuracy 
  • Must have exemplary interpersonal, communication, time management and organizational skills 
  • Must be a team player and welcome feedback as well as direction 
  • Exceptional networking skills
  • Proficient in Photoshop
