Proper Hospitality is interviewing candidates for Lead Line Cook positions. Candidates should have professional kitchen experience, including working a hot line and grill. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals. Experience in a full service restaurant is desired. Must have a flexible schedule. Cooking and preparing all menu items in accordance standards set by the Chef •
Stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food on the line
Food preparation and portioning prior to service
Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
Ability to lift 60 lbs and stand for long periods of time
Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions
Clean up station and take care of leftover food
Stock inventory appropriately
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
1+ yrs cooking experience
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Familiar with industry's best practices
Culinary school diploma
