Job Description

Houseperson

The purpose of a Houseperson is to assist room attendants in preparing guest rooms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist room attendants with stripping beds and removing used linen and towels.
  • Deliver towels to laundry for cleaning.
  • Deliver fresh towels and linens to room attendants for guest rooms.
  • Deliver additional supplies to room attendants as needed and as necessary.
  • Effectively communicate with room attendants to ensure efficient and timely cleaning of guest rooms.
  • Vacuum hallways of guest room floors.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with brand standards and with emphasis on meeting or exceeding guest expectations.
  • Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor.

Job Requirements

Education/Experience
  • No formal education or experience required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time up to 8 hours a day.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow through, and work with a minimum supervision.
  • Ability to exert physical effort consistent with position as per the hotel standards.
  • Ability to grasp, bend, and stoop; push or pull heavy loads weighing up to 30 lbs.

Aly-khan S. In addition, he directed all capital activities, investments, joint ventures and divestitures relating to Turnberry’s multi-billion-dollar portfolio of retail and hospitality development projects. To date, Mr. Merali has been involved in transactions on behalf of Turnberry that total in excess of $7 billion dollars. Mr. Merali has over 20 years of experience in real estate investing and operations. Prior to joining Turnberry, he was the Executive Vice President and Head of Acquisitions for a South Florida-based hotel investment venture with a portfolio of assets that spans North America, Europe and the Caribbean. Randy SantulliSenior Vice President – Hotel OperationsRandy Santulli joined Stonebridge Companies in early 2006 where he serves as Senior Vice President-Hotel Operations. He is responsible for all aspects of the hotel portfolio including select-service, extended-stay, mid-scale and full-service hotels. Mr. Santulli has an extensive background in food and beverage operations and has successfully repositioned numerous high volume restaurant and catering operations throughout his career. Prior to joining Stonebridge, Mr. Santulli served with Remington Hotel Corporation as Divisional Vice President-Hotel Operations, where he was involved in over 45 hotel acquisitions. He previously served with Westbrooke Hospitality Corporation as Senior Vice President-Hotel Operations. Mr. Santulli holds a degree from the Culinary Institute of America.
