Job Description

Job Summary

This position requires a professional demeanor, the ability to handle confidential information, the use of good judgment and ability to prioritize a dynamic workload while also meeting deadlines.

Provides executive-level assistance to the Executive Managing Director, including complex administrative and project assignments and strong interpersonal skill in working with vendors, as well as with other hotel departments. This position also supports the Director of Marketing to develop, execute, and monitor marketing plans as well as assist in the daily digital marketing activities including assisting with advertising campaigns, monitoring of Google Analytics, and measure everything we do digitally. To be successful this individual should have experience working with various digital marketing platforms, social media channels, be analytical and have a strong attention to detail.

Essential Job Functions

• Adheres to and exemplifies Carillon standards for guest service.

• Process invoices, purchasing orders and internal requisitions to the respective department.

• Create, deliver, edit, and optimize marketing materials (i.e., Website News Updates, Social Media Content, PPT presentations, etc.)

• Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategies.

• Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies

• Strong understanding of Digital Marketing specifically online advertising and its interrelationship with social media, email, SEM/SEO and website development.

• Collaborate on digital campaign strategies for: social media, email, PPC and display advertising.

• Evaluate performance reporting against ROI and KPI benchmarks

• Maintain & create website content and collaborate with other departments and agencies on website projects.

• Assist in management of e-marketing campaigns and databases.

• Support in the creation of project briefs for eMarketing campaigns, collateral material, evites and general creative.

• Support execution of all property wide campaigns related to acquisition, activations, and communication strategies.

• Assist with data checks and regular updates on partner sites on all campaigns/offers to ensure the correct communication/offer is being sent to the right group of customers and being communicated internally.

• Liaise with all departments regarding special promotions, collateral needs, and special event execution.

• Assist with set up and planning of photo and video shoots, influencer, and media visits.

• Provide administrative support to the sales & marketing department by preparing reports, handling information requests, updating menus, and performing clerical functions.

Education, Experience and Skill Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or Communications is preferred.

• 1 -2 years of work experience in digital marketing

• Previous hotel experience not required. Agency experience preferred.

• Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods.

• Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp, WordPress, Canva, SharePoint etc.) and applications (Google Analytics, etc.).

• Excellent customer service and

• Strong interpersonal skills for communication and collaboration between departments

• Excellent verbal and written communication skill.

• Ability to use effective judgment and to handle and maintain confidential information.

• Strong attention to detail, well organized, problem-solving ability, pro-active work ethic and the and ability to follow directions is required.

• Must be flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn.

• Ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Team player

• Highly creative

• Bilingual is a plus but not required.
