Under the supervision of the VP of Finance, leads and directs Main Street Hospitalitys accounting functions. Establishes and maintains the organization's overall accounting systems, procedures, and policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Experience: Three to five years prior supervisory experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area
Education: BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting, CPA a plus
Specialized knowledge: Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
Skills: Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
Character: Strong verbal and written communications skills. Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills required. Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
Physical: Sitting, light lifting.
