Farmington Country Club is looking for an individual who believes in quality work and attention to detail to join our Culinary Department staff. The Culinary team is led by Executive Chef Michael Matarazzo, CEC. This position is responsible for supporting the Chief Steward in the supervision of the General Kitchen Workers, to include training and maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary kitchens. The Assistant Chief Steward is also responsible for overseeing the daily operation of dish machines and pot and pan ware washing stations; and managing inventory, storage, and transportation of kitchen equipment and buffet service ware.

Competitive candidates should have experience in a restaurant, resort, hotel, or club environment; a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows software (Word, Excel, Outlook); the ability to understand and follow safety and sanitation rules and procedures; and the ability to stand, walk, bend, and routinely lift up to 50 pounds, and stack up to 4 ft. high.
