Key Responsibilities Of The Lifeguard

-Opening and closing the pool each day according to scheduled hours

-Closely monitoring activities related to the pool area, identifying any safety issues throughout shift

-Directing swimmers out of water in dangerous conditions

-Closely monitoring weather reports to make sure guests remain safe

-Overseeing pool parties

-Providing swim lessons and coaching swim team when applicable

-Maintaining a clean pool environment

-Provide the highest level customer service to our passholders and their guests

Current Certifications required - Minimum 2 yrs lifeguard experience in active pool situation.

Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification,

Valid American Red Cross CPR/AED for Pro Rescuer certificate.

Westchester County DOH requires annual certification for CPR/AED for Pro Rescuers

Lifeguards and other pool staff are prohibited from carrying CELL PHONES while on duty.
