Our Calgary home office seeks an energetic, motivated help desk technician to join our growing, fast paced IT team in supporting our operations across North America.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • First level of support, delivering technical assistance and support for incoming emails, calls and queries related to Moxie's Corporate computer systems, software and hardware

  • First level of triage for specialty systems

  • Evaluate and prioritize situations in a timely manner

  • Escalate to 3rd parties in real time and follow tickets through to completion

  • Review all open tickets and follow up with vendors, customers or senior management

  • Install and/or update hardware, peripherals and operating systems as required on new or existing computers

  • Complete all necessary fields in tickets and identify potential problems

  • Create or delete accounts according to the IT department procedures

  • Proactively monitor patch management, anti-virus and software policies and ensure compliance using reporting tools

  • Train or provide documentation to customers when required

  • Provide desk-side support where required

  • Provide on-call after hours support on rotational schedule


Technical requirements:      



  • Experience with managing and troubleshooting MS Windows 7, 8.1, & 10

  • Excel at managing Windows PCs

  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of applications

  • Fundamental understanding of physical networks and topology

  • Familiarity with managing wireless networks

  • Experience with managing and troubleshooting iOS MDM

  • Comfortable with remote management tools

  • Ability to manage Active Directory

  • MS Exchange account management

  • Knowledge MS Server 2008R2, 2012R2

  • Candidates with knowledge the Point of Sale system Kitchen Display System will be given preference

  • Candidates with knowledge of Mac OS will be given preference
