Director, Franchise Operations
US - CO - Greenwood Village

Based at our Greenwood Village Home Office you willenhance and protect the Red Robin brand throughout our franchise community, while serving as a liaison between our Franchisees and the Red Robin corporate office.  Provide guidance and partnership to our Franchisees in all areas of operations, profit, guest service, marketing and sales building.  Conduct brand equity reviews in each franchise restaurant to ensure they are operating in accordance with Red Robin brand standards and initiate corrective action when necessary.  Assist Franchisees in successfully introducing and communicating RRGB initiatives and programs, which may include food, beverage, marketing initiatives, BTI initiative, Certified Training Centers, BRM, SOP.



  • Conduct brand equity reviews in each franchise restaurant
  • Evaluate guest experience, food quality, safety and sanitation standards
  • Promote sales building techniques
  • Support development of action plans and business planning
  • Assess development of Team Members, Managers and company infrastructure
  • Actively partner with our Franchisees to ensure understanding and adoption of Red Robin initiatives and programs
  • Conduct regular telephone calls and visits with our Franchisees
  • Partner with Franchisees to understand and execute food, beverage, marketing, and operations initiatives
  • Ensure continued development and enhancement of brand equity review standards
  • Partner with legal and COO to understand and ensure compliance of all franchise requirements
  • Partner with COO to execute franchise business strategy
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other related field
  • Previous multi-unit experience
  • Current working knowledge of all Red Robin operations systems and procedures
  • 4 years restaurant operations experience as an ROD or GM
  • Able to work with people at all levels with a proven ability to influence others
  • Outstanding written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to uphold and role model Red Robin standards
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities
  • Ability to work independently without supervision
  • Ability to travel 70 - 80% of the time
  • Proficient with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
