Essential requirements:
• Excellent communication skills
• Hospitality, Tourism studies or relevant experience within a Five Star environment will be highly regarded.
• US Valid work authorization
• Available to work up to 40 hours per week
• Professional demeanor and exceptional presentation
• Keen understanding and appreciation of food and beverage
• Flexible schedule -Lounges operate 7 days a week, 365 days a year
• Background Check, Fingerprint and Drug Screen required for all successful applicants

Ideally have formal qualifications in Hospitality, and Tourism, or relevant Industry experience within a Five Star Hotel environment.

  •     Carry out assigned duties in a professional manner at all times maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  •  Prepare and present menu items as per Lounge menu specifications.
  •  Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage by following stock control procedures.
  •  Check that all cooked and pre-cooked foods are properly stored.
  •  Assist with the ordering of necessary foods according to proposed business demands.
  •     Consult with Executive Chef for guidance and authorization of order.
  •  Liaise with lounge team regarding the availability of menu items, additions to the menu and any relevant changes.
  •  Keep all working areas clean and tidy. Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned.  
  •      Report any problems to the Head Chef or Sous.
  •  Be familiar with other areas in the Kitchen so when called upon, assistance can be provided.
  •  Assist and liaise with chef on duty as required.
  •  Take care when handling company assets and be aware of costs associated with damage.
