This position is responsible for providing application development for various teams throughout the organization. The web based tools and reporting systems serve the operational and strategic needs of the growing business. The ideal candidate should have at least five years of experience in delivering advanced solutions for multi-tiered web applications. The position will require analyzing user requirements and effectively design and develop software solutions that reflect the business needs.

Job Function:

* Design, develop and test data-driven web applications for various teams and disciplines
* Analyze, document and validate software requirements
* Develop solutions to integrate data from various sources
* Design and implement data visualization and reporting
* Provide solutions for integrating with other enterprise systems and third party products
* Maintain and refactor existing code by analyzing and identifying areas for modification/improvement.
* Support applications by monitoring, identifying and fixing bugs and software defects


* 5+ years developing web applications
* 3 years developing on the Microsoft technology stack
* 3 years of experience with ASP.NET/C#
* 2 years working with SQL Server, relational databases and T-SQL
* Proven ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
* Pluses: ASP.NET MVC, Microsoft Azure and SSRS

Skills and Knowledge

* A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, page life cycle, and best development practices
* Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programing using C#
* Thorough knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX
* Experience with Entity Framework or other ORMs
* Proven working experience with relational databases
* Experience with gathering and implementing requirements
* Excellent problem solving
* Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in conjunction with team members
* Desire to stay on top of the latest technologies and continuously learn new languages, platforms and skills
* Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
