The Vice President of Revenue Management must have complete knowledge and/or understanding of the Hilton and/or Marriott Revenue Management Systems. The Vice President of Revenue Management will be solely responsible for the execution and analyzation for the revenue strategy for a group of Hilton, Marriott as well as other hotel brands.

The Vice President of Revenue Management is responsible for the successful operation and administration of the Revenue Management departments and the Revenue Managers for all of the company hotels. The Vice President of Revenue Management must drive results through effective training, coaching, leading, motivating, empowering and following through with all the associate as well as conduct weekly revenue management strategy meetings with each hotel sales team and hotel leaders. The Vice President of Revenue Management must ensure maximization of profitability yielding the highest RevPar.
*Must have complete knowledge and understanding of the Revenue Management Systems
*Must have understanding and/or knowledge of the Hilton or Marriott Revenue Management systems
*Must be an effective leader and mentor for the hotel Revenue Managers

*Maximize profitability through effective rate strategies, yield management and analyzation
*Ensure compliance with brand standards as well as Pearl standards and procedures
*Maintain effective and open communication as well as foster teamwork
*Continually train and develop hotel Revenue Managers to perform at a higher level

*Pulse global, national and local economics to determine impact on hotel revenues
*Develop market strategies comparing competition vs. Pearl hotels
*Create value assessments of competitive set hotels vs. Pearl hotels
*Evaluate and understand how Pearl can impact Revenue Management of competitive set
*Communicate thoroughly with Pearl hotels regarding revenue management and strategies
*Understand rate elasticity, demand and pace
*Have complete understanding and knowledge of demand generators of Pearl hotels
*Communicate and guide Pearl sales teams on LNR strategies with regards to layering base business
*Must be able to conduct daily business with integrity and be ethical at all times
*Monitor all distribution channels to ensure effective inventory management and pricing strategies
*Analyze and translate reports to understand future demand forecast and past trends to set strategies
*Optimize RevPar by analyzing demand and establish effective selling and overselling strategies
*Optimize mix including group, transient and wholesale segments
*Facilitate daily/weekly revenue strategy meeting
*Analyze Rate View for proper price positioning with comparison to market
*Maintain historical statistical data from all distribution channels
*Continually monitor all pertinent travel related websites to ensure competiveness
*Must have in-depth understanding of tools, spreadsheets and statistical methods for analyzing data
*Ability to identify relevant data and use it to draw inferences with revenue impact for the hotel
*Be able to work well under pressure and meet or beat deadlines
*Capitalize on utilizing brand promotions and marketing
*Direct coordination of cross-selling, joint marketing initiatives and other brand synergies
*Provide strategic direction of rate, date and space commitments for group room sales
*Forecasting strategy implementation
