Nestled in the heart of Galveston Island's Strand Historic District is The Tremont House, an elegant European-style 119 room hotel.  The hotel features over 16,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, including the 8,000 sq. ft. Davidson Ballroom; The Tremont Café; The Rooftop Bar; and, the historic Toujouse Lobby Bar, located in the hotel’s four story atrium and dating back to the 1870’s.
Wyndham Hotel Group is searching for a Housekeeping Turn Down Attendant to work part-time (Friday and Saturday only from 10:30 am-2:30 pm)  at our beautiful Tremont House Hotel.  The Turn Down Attendant is responsible for preparing the rooms for the return of guests by turning down the beds etc. maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests.

 

 

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

·        Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees.

·        Thoroughly prepare the rooms for returning guests by turning down the bed sheets according to standards.

·        Report all missing items from room (i.e., irons/boards, hair dryers, etc.) to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.

·        Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager

·        Handle items for “Lost and Found” according to standards.

·        Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
