Job Description

Job OverviewThis position will supervise personnel such as assistant professionals, shop personnel, maintenance staff, etc., in the performance of their duties. This person will enforce all rules and regulations governing the use of the facility, its equipment and other property.Essential Functions
  • Assist with and/or direct pro shop management and facility maintenance
  • Develop programs or events that promote all the clubs staff and management to the membership
  • Prepare newsletters, bulletin boards and website sources for promoting activities, registration and member recognition
  • Develop, hire, train and evaluate staff
  • Instruct all students at all levels
  • Conduct group and private lessons
  • Assist and develop competitive players
  • Organize and implement tennis programs
  • Maintain accurate and updated profiles of all members, contact all new members and get them involved within the first 30 days of membership
  • Solicit appropriate member feedback about programs, the club and staff for member retention, program and staff evaluation

Job Requirements

  • High school graduate
  • Tennis Professional Certifications
  • Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal
  • Provide legible communication and directions
  • Compute basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers)
