Be responsible for the Custodial Team, and assist in all Engineering Department issues or tasks that occur during the shift.  Clearly communicate to the supervisor any issues that need to be addressed.  Clean and inspect facilities properly to ensure the safety of property, guests, and personnel.


  • Direct the efforts of co-workers while on shift.
  • Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times.
  • Lead scheduled checks of facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety of property: check all floors, stairwells, and storage spaces; check outside building, parking lots, vehicles, machinery, and surrounding areas in accordance with supervisory direction.
  • Respond to emergency situations quickly and efficiently.
  • Prevent damage to or theft of company property, and report violations of company rules and regulations.
  • Report all fires and attempt to extinguish as appropriate.
  • Maintain daily records and logs of Custodial Department incidences and activities – file required reports with supervisors.
  • Assist with Engineering, Response Center, and Tool Room duties as required.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.


  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least two years of custodial or housekeeping experience required.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Clean driving record required.
  • Ability to deal with guests and personnel in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Ability to be exposed to inclement weather conditions.
  • Ability to work standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, etc.
  • Ability to work around motors, pumps, gear boxes, boilers, chillers, etc.
  • Must be in good physical condition.
  • Able to Ski or Snowboard using personally owned equipment.
