Talent Acquisition Manager/Recruiting Manager

As a Talent Acquisition Manager you will:

  • Be responsible for providing ethical and consistent requisition management, support & service in the Talent Acquisition function of the Interstate Hotels Corporate Offices.

  • Provide full-cycle recruiting services to specified Corporate and Field/Property entities. Work on recruitment-related projects and research assignments as necessary.

  • Provide full-cycle recruitment services for designated Executive Committee level positions, various field locations and Corporate departments; including working with the hiring managers to determine recruitment strategy, job postings, sourcing, networking, screening candidates, coordinating secondary interviews, completing reference checks, assisting in offer negotiations, preparing offer letters, and other tasks related to the Talent Recruitment cycle.

  • Maintain good working relationships and open lines of communication with other departments. Coordinate communication with hiring managers, candidates, and other Interstate parties involved in the TA/Recruiting process.

  • Provide support to other team/field/corporate members with TA duties such as candidate communications, effective search/sourcing techniques and referral support. Maintain recruitment files for department.

  • Provide support and assistance with trouble-shooting field and corporate users on Interstate's varied Talent Acquisition systems and programs, i.e. Applicant Tracking System (Workday); Pre-Hire Assessments and relocation options/programs.


Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field. PHR or SPHR certification desirable. Must have at least 2 years progressive experience recruiting in a high volume environment. Prior experience in hospitality a plus. A thorough understanding of human resources and employment laws with respect to recruitment.Demonstrated ability to effectively handle multiple tasks, and be detail-oriented. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, organization and time-management skills. The ability to work effectively with limited supervision.

This position is based in our Arlington, VA Corporate Office and will support all US time zones.
