             JOB SUMMARY

 

 

 

The Landscape Manager is responsible for assisting in the design and development of land areas, parks and other recreational facilities, and for ensuring the efficient operation of the day-to-day activities and tasks of the Landscaping Department.  He/She is responsible for maintaining the grounds, plants and landscaped areas of the property to ensure quality of the guest experience, while remaining within budget guidelines.

 

 

       QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

 

 

 

Education & Experience: 

·          At least 4 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field; or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and 2 or more years of related experience.

·          Previous management experience required.

Physical requirements:

·       Long hours sometimes required.

·       Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
