Essential FunctionsThis role is a catalyst for change; by continuing to develop the supply chain structure for the company and creating strategic supplier alliances. RFP development and proposal evaluation supported with rigorous commodity financial analysis, contract negotiations and implementation for the portfolio supported by product forecast and annual usage level is key.
The Director of Strategic Sourcing will work cross-functionally and interface with all internal teams, specifically; Business Development, Finance, Operations, Sales, People Services and IT. In this role you will work on projects that support a geographically dispersed internal customer base with over 80+ properties. You will negotiate highly complex/million dollar contracts supported by documented negotiation strategies, RFQ data and CBAs. Including successfully implementing company-wide contracts which are utilized by various internal groups/businesses/ properties. You will work with distribution centers, implementing supplier logistics programs and develop planning and inventory management standards.
You will need to have worked in an environment with defined Supply Chain metrics with Quarterly Business Reviews and PPV goals.
We are looking for a leader with strong organizational and solid fact-finding skills with peerless discretion and judgment and the ability to manage large scale- programs independently.
This role frequently presents to senior level executives at the home office and properties, as well as, at our annual conferences, so excellent presentation skills are a plus.
- 8-10 years experiencing working in a Supply Chain/ Strategic Sourcing team working through the entire Supply Chain/Operations process
- 7 years contract development experience, specifically working on T & M and Services Contracts, MSAs, SLAs, SOWs and LOIs required
- Hospitality experience preferred but not required
