Description :

• Establish and maintain local policies as they relate to the receipt issuance and general controls of food and beverage.

• Assist in the monthly food and beverage inventories count and extension.

• Establish and maintain a database for food and beverage inventory stock including up-to-date pricing.

• Ensure proper storage and issuance of all food and beverage items.

• Establish and maintain a cost allocation transfer system for food and beverage supplies to the various departments.

• Summarize these transactions for each financial period close.

• Assist in the monthly food and beverage inventories count and extension.

• Establish and maintain a database for food and beverage inventory stock including up-to-date pricing.

• Ensure proper storage and issuance of all food and beverage items.

• Conduct self in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of the Company and to encourage staff to do the same.

• Must have a commitment to follow all Company procedures as they relate to the Purchasing Department.

• Must be able to work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.

• Document the receipt of items on the purchase orders and packaging slips and then note any discrepancies.

• Inspect the physical condition and count or measure the quality and weight of all items or supplies at the time they are received and before they are placed in storage.

• Ensure that the store area is clean and accessible.

• Monitor and take inventory on a regular basis, i.e., daily for produce, dairy and bread, or on specific days for meat, etc., to compile orders based either on par levels or needs.

• Ensure that all goods received are stored in their proper areas at all times.

• Ensure all beverage requisitions are handled as per established procedures.

• Assist in all daily, weekly, month-end, or quarterly inventories as needed.

• Conduct self in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of the Company.

• Prepare weekly food and beverage cost estimation reports.

• Perform any additional duties as assigned

Qualification :

• Must have a thorough working knowledge of all corporate policies and procedures as they relate to Food and Beverage Control.

• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish major responsibilities and tasks.

• Must be willing to accept assignments on as need basis in order to promote teamwork.

• Must have a commitment to follow all local and corporate policies and procedures as they relate to food and beverage control.

• Must work in a safe, prudent, and organized manner.
