Position Description

The Sr Global Financial Analyst is a prominent position based in the Minneapolis HQ that leads and manages critical sourcing and financial initiatives throughout the company. This role influences business results through financial analysis, meaningful reporting, and forecasting processes within the business. Support includes in-depth analysis and complex excel modeling, global spend tracking, auditing, forecasting, budgeting, accruals, general ledger, sourcing value contribution savings, compliance, and creation and execution of global standard operating procedures (SOP’s). A solid background in financial planning and analysis is required. Ability to help train Sourcing Managers who do not possess a strong financial acumen is also required along with the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams located around the globe.


  • Revenue tracking & forecasting
  • Complex Excel modeling and financial analysis
  • Global spend analysis
  • Rebate tracking and forecasting
  • Audit contracts and supplier activity reports
  • SOP creation and execution
  • Validate financial calculations and assumptions
  • Track, consolidate and report on contracted benefits
  • P&L responsibility for month-end close, revenue and expense accruals, forecasting and budgets
  • Support and validate Sourcing Value Contribution (SVC) savings initiatives
  • Report creation and reporting to a wide array of stakeholders using various Zycus modules
  • Full ownership of all reporting and analysis tools
  • Assist with training and developing Sourcing Managers financial acumen
  • Review and propose efficient tactics to the procurement lifecycle process
  • Coordinate the receipt of data from internal and external sources, conduct necessary cleansing and validation into usable forms for analysis, and performance reporting including franchise disclosure document (FDD)
  • Monitor inventory commitments minimizing Company risk of inventory write-offs
  • Administrator for all aspects of Master OS&E Distributor contractual pricing documents
  • Interface with suppliers to ensure usage reporting and payments are reconciled and received in a timely manner
  • Occasionally participate in contract negotiations to maintain an understanding of the process and have a keen understanding of the delegation of authority process
  • Support the implementation of new eProcurement software tools
  • Understand and effectively utilize the Company’s ERP system
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and/or improve internal and external processes
  • Perform basic strategic sourcing tracking by entering status data and generating reports


Required Education:

  • 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a Finance Major or related finance degree
  • MBA/Post graduate is desirable, preferred

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant analyst experience with a track record of strong performance
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strategic thinker
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong presentation and written/verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Hospitality industry experience preferred
  • Needs to be able to drive change in behavior, process and procedures in a collaborative manner
