Job Description:

To guide guests in coordinating spa services to meet their treatment goals or experience desired in an efficient, courteous and professional manner. Support and lead all staff relating to guest satisfaction, proper technical skills, spa knowledge and efficiencies and Safety and Security procedures.

Responsibilities:

1. General knowledge of all facets of the hotel and to work effectively with other departments as a team.
2. Superb hospitality skills with the ability to mentor and train others.
3. Lead by example, providing the Spa and Salon team with positivity and daily support in coordination with the Assistant Director and Director of Spa.
4. In-depth knowledge of all spa offerings: services, product knowledge, packages and programs.
5. Continuous awareness of daily operations for guest and facility, following through to address concerns immediately through empowerment and communicating to the appropriate persons for assistance.
6. Training and mentoring team members in the areas of Omni La Costa Culture and the Six Pillars.
7. Perform and guide Reception Desk and Locker Room teams with daily spa and salon tasks to include: Scheduling, Financial transactions, Shift Opening and closing procedures and cash handling. All process mentioned to meet La Costa Spa and Omni Audit standards.
8. Proactively communicating to leadership, any areas that may require restructuring or change for improvement:

* Overall operation of the spa or interdepartmentally.
* Working conditions/Safety and Security
* Comfort of our guests
* Facility equipment or structure.

1. Assistance with local and in-house group and package guests as needed in coordination with Group Manager.
2. Provide on-going trainings to increase staff knowledge and guest interaction standards in coordination with Assist Director and Director of Spa
3. Responsible for scheduling and attendance tracking for all Spa job descriptions.
4. Oversee and contribute to spa communications regarding spa and hotel interdepartmental information: Breakroom communication board, Provider call-in process, Memo’s and communications, Accounting regarding billing, new procedures and updates.

Qualifications:

* Experience in the hospitality field, preferably in a Spa setting
* 1 year od supervisory experienced prefered.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

*

Must have flexibility with schedule. Able to work all weekends and holidays.

*

Must have great organizational skills and attention to detail.
