Job Functions:

  • Create and manage the Spa operational budget.
  • Establish and enforce internal costs and labor controls.
  • Ensure spa payroll is completed accurately and on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure scheduling for front desk and therapists is done each week.
  • Develop revenue enhancement programs.
  • Manage all spa financial matters, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Oversee the compliance of state laws regarding spa health standards, insurance requirements and therapist certifications/renewals.
  • Able to work front desk which includes answering phones, booking appointments, interfacing with guests, etc.
  • Responsible for attending numerous resort-wide meetings and communicating all relevant information to spa team.
  • Oversee scheduled monthly retail inventory.
  • Become a subject matter expert in Coupa.
  • Handle all billing and point-of-sale functions for spa services and retail sales.
  • Train and hold team accountable to Brand Standards set by Vail Hospitality.
  • Responsible for hiring, and scheduling new hire training for all front desk staffing including supervisor roles.
  • Be upbeat and have fun!


  • College degree within the hospitality industry preferred.
  • At least 3 years hospitality experience.
  • At least 2 years management experience preferred.
  • At least 6 months experience using SpaSoft spa technology.
  • Must be able to work weekends.
  • Must be proficient in sales and guest service.
  • Must possess good organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work well within team environment.
  • Can-do attitude is a must.
