Duties:



  • Willingness to accept the most effective role

  • Responsible for the promotion of a safe and professional workplace through adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Great Wolf Resorts handbook.

  • Follows all duties listed in Spa Host job description

  • Leads by example

  • Train new hires(spa hosts) on all responsibilities

  • Ensure training checklist is followed during new hire training

  • Ensures, implements, and trains on all Spa Ritual traditions and standards

  • Ensures all opening and closing lists and duties are completed

  • Delegates tasks for spa hosts and technicians to stay productive during their scheduled shift

  • Ensures Elements and Scooops Kid spa services and atmosphere is consistent with brand

  • Trains all spa hosts on new protocols, changes/updates or topics of weakness

  • Conducts weekly/monthly/quarterly trainings for spa host team as needed

  • Training & tracking of retail sales for spa host team

  • Utilizes spa software and understands functionality of all aspects of the software system

  • Ensure consistency in guest services with all spa pack members

  • Has excellent knowledge of all spa services and retail

  • Execute standard telephone procedures using appropriate customer service etiquette

  • Support in managing changes to inventory and conducts a monthly inventory count

  • Ensures all spa bookings and Scooops packages are booked correctly

  • Maximize spa booking for each service technician thru up selling and managing books

  • Participate in any required trainings and implement practices that are taught

  • Consistent management style and follows lead from Manager, yet empowered to handle staff and guest challenges when Manager is not present

  • Resolve guest challenges, utilizing support from supervisor, manager, director, or MOD

  • Takes care of his/her own well-being by having good skin care and wellness practices

  • Current with the industry trends

  • Participates fully in Project Green Wolf, our company-wide environmental sustainability initiative, which includes, but is not limited to, recycling, waste reduction, and energy and water conservation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 High school diploma or equivalent

 1+ year Spa Host/Front desk experience preferred

 Previous customer service/hospitality experience

 Previous retail sales experience preferred

 Basic computer skills and knowledge of spa software

 Takes an exhaustive approach to every task. Committed to comprehensive and in-depth analysis, planning and implementations of every work task

 Ability to work in a team environment with professional demeanor

 Ability to read and write English, to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals;

 Basic math skills with ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

 Must be flexible regarding scheduling as it is based on business demands

 Excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication, and time management

 


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 Able to lift or push up to 30 pounds, bending, stretching, and able to sit or stand for long periods of time
