Spa Experience Coordinator

At Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, your primary responsibility is to provide the Guest with a warm and inviting welcome into the spa. They will provide efficient and courteous services to Guests and Members at all times, and have thorough knowledge and details of all Spa treatments and retail products.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Spa Director, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Demonstrate the Fairmont’s Service Plus Standards in all interactions

* Welcome and assist Guests’ according to FHR Brand Standards

* Is an ambassador of Fairmont Dubai by providing memorable Guest experiences

* Demonstrate a commitment to provide warm, anticipative service to exceed the needs and expectations of our discerning Guests

* Provide information and literature about the facilities and services in person and via telephone

* Possess knowledge about all aspect of the treatments and the facility to ensure Guests are provided with accurate information, and inquiries are responded to with complete details

* Make reservation for spa treatments and personal training sessions

* Ensure that attention to details is accurately maintained with each Guest reservation and all Guest requirements or issues are clearly stated to ensure smooth service delivery

* Control entry into all areas of facility by restricting all unauthorized individuals

* Thoroughly understand and adheres to proper credit, and cash-handling policies and procedures

* Maintain inventory of supplies and retails products

* Provide Spa tours, when needed

* Follows Occupational Health and Safety regulations

* Report suspicious people, behavior, and vehicles to Hotels Security

* Ensure adherence to Fairmont’s Code of Ethics

Qualifications:

* Must possess outstanding Guest service skills, professional presentation and sophisticated verbal and written communication skills

* Must be Guest-oriented, have a vibrant personality, and radiate enthusiasm to assist people

* Proficient in English language (verbal and written) with a second or third language as an asset

* Must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever changing environment

* Must be flexible in terms of working hours, and able to work with little or no supervision

* Able to type 25 words per minute

* Minimum of one-year experience in spa industry or hospitality

* Must have the ability to handle cash effectively and accurately with basic accounting

* Computer literacy in Windows, MS Office Suite, Fidelio PMS system, SpaSoft, and Micros is recommended

* Frequent standing and walking throughout shift

* Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs

* Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, sitting
