•Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
•Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.
•Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
•Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
•Perform general repairs in maintenance related disciplines, including but not limited to: carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, electrical, and finish work.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
•Respond to guest room calls as required.
•Prioritize work orders through urgent requests and established hotel area down times in order to minimize inconveniencing guests.
•Inspect, plan and ensure that all materials and equipment are in complete readiness for service.
•Maintain department equipment and supply inventory levels.
•Ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
•Perform other duties and handle projects as assigned.
•Ensure security, cleanliness, preventive maintenance and repair of engineering tools, equipment and safety features.
•Promote sanitation, safety, security efforts, and guest services of the Hotel.
•Participate on the Hotel's Emergency Evacuation Team.
Minimum 2 years maintenance experience.
Must have good customer service and communication skills.
Willing to work weekends and holidays.
Have ability to lift, push, pull, carry 50 lbs. or more;
