The Sales Manager must:
Actively upsell each business opportunity to maximize revenue.
Achieve personal and team related goals.
Identify, qualify, and solicit new group business to achieve personal and hotel revenue goals.
Understand the overall market and competitors strengths and weaknesses.
Use negotiating skills and creative selling ability to close business and negotiate contracts.
Two+ years highly preferred.
Business attire a must.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) required.
Good working knowledge if CITY and past Marriott experience a plus.
