Job Description

Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services. Personally contacts and secures new business accounts/customers. Generate revenue by developing market potential through forecasting, lead generation, qualification, and closing sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for meeting assigned monthly revenues production by segment
  • Maintains pro-active approach to all assigned segments and honors key selling hours
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to create prospecting process
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to create lead qualification process
  • Work with sales leadership to generate ideas for sales contests and motivational initiatives
  • Have complete understanding of assigned markets and be able to read and analyze STAR Report
  • Meets with DOS to outline sales actions weekly and participates in weekly sales meeting
  • Maintains high visibility within the community to promote hotel
  • Embody company culture and maintain high sales employee engagement
  • Collaborate with IT on sales technology initiatives
  • Meet pre-determined revenue goals through the activities of direct reports
  • Ensure correct usage of sales applications and systems
  • Develop a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues
  • Set individual sales targets using action plans
  • Delegate responsibility for customer accounts to sales personnel
  • Participate with brand events, training, networking opportunities
Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; business and marketing majors preferred
  • Three to five years in a sales representative role; within industry preferred
  • Must have exceptional people skills with the ability to build trust and relations
  • Must have the ability to network within the business arena
  • Must have the ability to use computer to research potential business leads and emailing
  • Must have strong knowledge of the geographic designated business market
  • Must have the ability to travel throughout the designated markets
  • Must have the ability to analyze data and make sound decisions
  • Must have strong basic mathematical skills
  • Record of meeting sales goals
