Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced, self-motivated, goal oriented Sales/Catering Manager to join our successful sales team! In this position, you must know the principle basics of hotel sales to sell not only to short term bookings, but wedding and social events as well. Identify and effectively manage revenue opportunities on an on-going basis by forecasting revenues and profit potential from accounts within acceptable levels and increase RevPAR through effective sales skills. You must meet or exceed sales goals for bookings on a monthly and quarterly basis, prospect new business, solicit existing contacts and complete outside sales calls to clients within, but not limited to, the Kansas City market. This salaried position must maintain effective involvement with key community organizations. The Hilton Kansas City Airport is located three miles south of the KCI Airport. Our upscale, full service property offers extensive meeting space and 347 guest rooms with an extensive exercise room and indoor/outdoor swimming pool.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Must have experience in Hotel Sales.

  • Bachelor’s degree or 2 years sales experience.

  • Present a professional appearance and confidence.

  • Strong negotiating skills with the ability to multi-task.

  • Display exceptional customer service skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with public and other employees.

  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Delphi knowledge preferred.
