The Rooms Assistant Managerresponsibilities include assisting in overseeing any area in the Rooms Division. This can include the Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, and Guest Relations.



This individualis responsible for telecommunications, in-house reservations and in-room dining order taking. As a highly visible role within the hotel it offers the opportunity to provide the highestlevel of guest satisfaction according to luxury standards. Further responsibilities include:
* Assisting, leading and enhancing guest experience from VIP pre-arrival to post departure activities by planning and coordinating withrelated hotel departments and colleagues.
* Maintain professional and healthy relationships with all departments within the hotel
* Respond to a variety of guest request with corrective analyzing and brand standards

Within the Housekeeping role, the individual is responsiblefor assisting in the oversight of the entire housekeeping area, to includepublic areasand night cleaning. This requires a solid understanding of housekeeping and laundry supplies and pars and will assure all safety and security policies and procedures are followed. Experience with turndown service, special needs of VIP Guests, foreign dignitaries, etc. is helpful. These responsibilities may also include staff training, development and scheduling. Room Assistant Manager will promote an atmosphere that insures customer and associate satisfaction. This position reports directly to the Director of Housekeeping and requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively deal with guests, other departments and team members.

Duties may also include training, staff development and scheduling.

* At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel, previous experience in the housekeeping department preferred
* Supervisory experience required
* Must be proficient in Windows, Opera, Excel, Hotel Guest Response systems and word processing.
