Job Description

Position Description:

We are seeking a self-directed, energetic, and efficient Room Attendant to join our top-notch Housekeeping team. The role is important because you set the stage for the guest experience through attention to detail, proficiency, and can do attitude. This position needs to be able to make our property shiny, clean, and well stocked while ensuring our guests have a pleasant and memorable experience. The model applicant will have strong work ethic and be a team player.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

* To perform a combination of tasks that maintain hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner, thereby contributing to a pleasant, positive guest experience
* Clean guest room, make beds, replenish supplies such as drinking glasses and writing supplies etc.
* Clean bathroom and replenish and bathroom supplies in guest rooms
* Dust furniture and equipment. Polish metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings. Replace light bulbs as needed.
* Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
* Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas
* Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies, using a vacuum cleaner
* Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts
* Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy
* Maintain all equipment used in working order
* Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors
* Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications
* All other duties as needed and or assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* HS Diploma or equivalent preferred experience
* Hospitality industry or other applicable cleaning experience preferred
* Regularly lift and/or move up to 10-25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
* Be able to stand continuously up to 8 hours per shift
