Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the guest rooms, public areas, back of the house areas such as the linen room and laundry areas at a level that meets or exceeds company standards. Position includes cleaning up to twenty or more rooms a day in limited time, while also passing "white glove" inspections.
Must be able to follow verbal instructions. Six months successful hotel housekeeping experience or six months of full-time work experience requiring physical skill and exertion (for example: janitorial, warehouse, agricultural or light industrial) required. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and push a 200 lb. cart repetitively also required. Must be available to work any day of the week from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM (or as needed to meet business demands) including holidays. Must have hospitality-focused qualities and a courteous demeanor. Must be able to support the hotel's environmentally responsible business practices and embrace our Declaration of Excellence.
