Job Description

Position Title:             Manager, Revenue Management

Reports To:                Corporate Director, Revenue Management

 

Position Summary

 

Manage the room rates and inventories for a selected group of Club Quarters hotels in a manner that achieves targeted ADR and revenue goals.  Conduct regular reviews of each hotel’s selling strategies and make adjustments to non-member room rates and restrictions for member and non-member types based on marketplace activity to achieve occupancy and revenue goals. Provide responses to Membership Managers inquiries regarding varying pricing at hotels.  Review trends of target performance of hotels against expected performance and recommends appropriate changes to the glide path demand curve by hotel.  Conduct related research and analysis of pricing trends; recommend adjustments as appropriate.

 

Key Responsibilities

* Develop, implement, monitor, and control room sales strategies. 

* Conduct weekly RevMax Meetings and document strategies to ensure the proper mix of members, non-members, OTA and group room nights.

* Review and control rates and inventory across all distribution channels.

* Prepare, review, and analyze competitive pricing research and assessment reports to formulate and deploy non-member and OTA inventory restrictions and pricing strategies designed to maximize revenue, rate and occupancy. 

* Consult with CDRM and Groups Manager on rate/inventory suitable for potential group business.

* Manage the input of data and report generation into RMS systems 

* Complete and analyze weekly and monthly reports reviewing the strategies with the end results.

* Establish and maintain relationships with OTA account managers.

* Establish and maintain positive working relationships with the Membership Team, hotel team, Membership Services team, revenue management team and GDS team.

 
Skills & Abilities

Analytical and technical skills required, as well as working knowledge of reservations, front office, sales, catering, and Excel/MS Word to take full advantage of revenue opportunities.  Forecasting and creative revenue management abilities needed. Yield management skill required to evaluate business trends and communicate to properties the recommendations needed to take advantage of revenue maximization.

Position is based in the Club Quarters corporate offices in Stamford, CT.
