Job Description
Position Summary:

We seek a positive, service-oriented, energetic and self-motivated Revenue Manager to join our team. The Revenue Manager will report to the General Manager and will work closely with the hotel’s sales and management teams. This position’s purpose is to maximize total hotel revenue through daily leadership in the management of guestroom inventory and product pricing; responsible for ongoing revenue improvement of guestrooms.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Responsible for setting daily revenue strategies as directed by the revenue management committee for group and transient segments

* Manage all hotel distribution channels which include hotel direct, central reservations, travel agencies (GDS) and internet sites.

* Use all Yield Management tools available through OnQ to maximize revenues

* Maintain a complete short term and long term awareness of the local market

* Facilitate a business review meeting with the Director of Sales as needed.

* Complete the weekly and monthly 30, 60, 90 day forecast and update systems

* Prepare agenda, critiques, tracking, competitive analysis and future strategies for presentation at the weekly revenue management meeting; must also lead and document said meeting with attention to following up on needed action items

* Responsible for executing all corporate revenue management initiatives

* Complete daily, weekly and monthly reports

* Assist in preparation of annual budget and marketing plan/business plan

* Responsible for assisting front desk in times of need.

* Act in lieu of Reservations Manager; Enter, coordinate and maintain all group blocks in addition to but not limited to entering rooming lists, use of RAPID, gift certificate reservations, VIPs, etc.

* Act as go-to person with respect to Staff inquiries regarding rates and dates of availability, with respect to local/global, negotiated, employee discounts, complimentary, etc.

* Continual education on the market place and competitive set

* Support and carry forward all Guest Satisfaction (CRM) and Quality Assurance initiatives as defined.

* Miscellaneous duties as assigned
