Job Description


Job OverviewThis position oversees the retail operations. Concentrates on sales growth and profitability, customer satisfaction, merchandising standards, recruitment, training and development, and daily operations.Essential Functions
  • Demonstrate quantitative measures of performance in the following areas: sales volume, management sales, percent increase, units per transaction, average dollar sale, sales per hour, sales per square foot, sales conversion, payroll expenses, payroll expense % to sales, shortage control and company contests
  • Prioritize daily store issues and delegate responsibilities to store management and staff
  • Communicate company information and directives to staff through daily and monthly meetings
  • Establish weekly/monthly sales goals for each sales associate and motivate sales team to exceed goals
  • Ensure high level of customer service by acting as a coach, role model and sales leader
  • Ensure management visibility on the selling floor to support all selling function
  • Drive visual presentation and maintenance standards through effective staff training
  • Support buying team in responding to inventory opportunities, placing replenishment orders as needed and negotiating returns to vendors on slow performing product
  • Create strong results-oriented team that works together and maintains positive store environment
  • Schedule staff based on business trends and selling performance P&L accountability and management

Job Requirements


  • Strong delegation, leadership, and operational skills to effectively manage high-volume performance and require previous experience managing high-volume stores or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Strong technical aptitude, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Outlook)
  • Previous experience with POS systems
