As Residences Sales Manager, your duties include:

Sales -coordinate & participate in sales initiatives:

  • Promote Hotel & Residences for long-term stays
  • Sales blitzing / sales calls
  • E-blasting / e-communicating
  • Maintain relationships with current, repeat customers, accounts
  • Conduct sites of Hotel & Residences
  • Prospect among the areas of Real-estate, Re-location, and Corporations for extended-stay
  • Pursue new business via telephone, e-mail, in-person meetings
  • Compile and analyze reports to meet overall results, goals

Inquiries - transact all in-coming Residences inquiries generated from website, advertising and network:

  • Maintain excellent customer relations
  • Opera use & reservations input
  • Generate, negotiate & issue contracts

In-house guests -facilitate requirements for in-house guests:

  • Addendums, amendments, extensions
  • Respond and handle client issues & concerns
  • Liaise with all appropriate departments, Front Office, Accounting, Housekeeping to ensure effective communication of requirements and that guests needs are being met

Administration -conduct internal requirements:

  • Reporting, tracking and data collection
  • Utilize Delphi for Customer Sales Management and maintain database of all contacts according to Company standard
  • Accurately block space and all appropriate internal and external follow-up to ensure an effective booking
  • Assist Director of Sales & Marketing when necessary

The qualifications for this position are:

- Working knowledge of Opera an asset

- Working knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, power point

- Ability to learn technology/systems i.e. Delphi, Constant Contact etc

- Proven customer facing experience

- Excellent phone mannerisms

- Professional demeanour

- Ability to prioritize workload and have effective time management skills

- Hotel & Residences experience an asset

- Previous sales experience is required
