Oversee portfolio of 7-10 assets, primarily premium and select with some full service. Provide the General Managers with oversight, guidance and support in order to maximize the assets value for the owners, exceed guest expectations and create a work environment with a high level of associate engagement that supports each individuals growth and development in the journey to reach his/her full potential. This is a new role that has been developed to support our growing organization.

Responsibilities:
Directly Supervise Regional Team: (35%)
• Provide leadership in the development and execution of business strategies for the properties, including the development of realistic and attainable strategic business plan that defines operational goals which will maximize profitability of the portfolio operations.
• Establish on going communication and building positive engagement with the asset manager/owners’ representatives for each asset.
• Drive preferential brand relationships with applicable hotel brands. Be an advocate for brand; own the liaison role and be willing to proactively work through challenges.
• Effectively present data, initiatives and innovative ideas on behalf of the operations teams to owners and brand representatives in support of business strategies in order to elicit buy-in.
• Set expectations and clarity with property team on goals and act as liaison between owners and property teams to ensure that goals and strategies are aligned and well executed.
• Oversee the annual business plan process, provide guidance and insight during planning, review and approve all components, marketing, associate engagement, revenue, expenses, capital planning etc.
• Ensure that training and processes are in place to meet brand standards and which will preserve the asset, including preventive maintenance and ensuring cleanliness of all areas of the property.
• Ensure all operations have standard operating processes (SOPs) and training to comply with all laws applicable to the business operation.
Maximize profitability and revenue for portfolio: (35%)
• Work with the property based and corporate support teams to drive revenue in all areas of the business: e-commerce, group, transient and base room revenues, food and beverage revenues; and maximize other property revenue streams (ie. Retail, banquets, catering).
• Work with property based and corporate support teams to devise and execute strategies to outperform the comp set in RevPar and deliver maximum revenue potential.
• Provide oversight to property teams on prioritizing focused activities to drive results and ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, scheduling, payroll control and other management expenses.
• Ensure the properties maintain a focus on training and developing teams to comply with standard operation procedures required by both brand and management company to ensure consistency and excellence in operations.
Drive Guest Satisfaction that exceeds brand minimums: (15%)
• Set the vision and clear expectations for the properties to achieve guest satisfaction scores and Brand Quality Assurance.
• Ensure training is delivered which effectively empowers associates to problem solve and creates a warm welcoming environment throughout the properties.
• Support and promote relevant brand and Evo training to develop skills required to meet or exceed guest service standards.
Drive High levels of associate engagement: (15%)
• Review and provide guidance on associate engagement action plans.
• Support the coaching and counseling process and promote mentoring and development of talent with the teams.
• Provide open and honest feedback.
• Lead by example and build a culture across the properties with the guiding principles as a foundation. Live the Evolution brand.
• Promote strategies which balance the interests of the associates with guests, owners and management company interests to achieve maximum results.

Job Requirements:
• Strong Business and financial acumen.
• Desire to collaborate and ability to persuade
• Well-developed presentation skills, analytical abilities and written and verbal skills.
• Self-motivated, proven ability to drive results through collaboration with others.
• Ability to interface across all support functions, revenue management, finance, sales, marketing, risk management, legal, and human resources.
• Thorough understanding of financial statements, budgets, payroll process and cost inventory control.
• Knowledge of food &beverage, hotel operations, construction and project management.
• 3-5 years of multi-property supervision;10+ years in hotel management.
• Knowledge of multiple brand standards and expectations.
• Degree in business administration, hospitality or related field preferred.
• Travel is typically extensive.
