POSITION OVERVIEW

Conduct day to day operation of the hotel Human Resource department which includes but not limited to
Creating a positive environment focusing on associate recognition, greet and communicate effectively in a timely fashion with internal and external guests to the Human Resource department, assisting with Crescent and hotel brand training to foster positive attitudes towards company culture and goals, coordination of company benefits enrollment process, respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, programs and escalating associate concerns and issues.

This position will focus on Recruitment.

REPORTS TO Human Resources Director

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Ensure 5-second approach is met for all visitors to Human Resources.

Assist associates whenever possible with requests andor information. Attempt to answer and satisfy the associate with hisher concern so that heshe does not have to wait or make an appointment with Human Resource Director.

Review candidate applications on a daily basis and follow recruitment process from start to finish. Maintain applicant tracking system and ensure appointments and schedules are being maintained.

Collaborate and provide feedback to management regarding talent selection process. Provide timely and appropriate feedback to all candidates.

Manage the candidate selection process to ensure the right talent is being selected for the position and hotel.

Be familiar with various benefits to associates as required. Assist with distribution of enrollment forms. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision insurance, Life and Disability insurance, Flexible Spending accounts, Tuition Assistance, 401k and Paid Time Off.

Attend recruitment events to promote hotel. Plan and manage on-property recruitment events. Promote associate referral programs. Create and implement new methods of recruitment.

Prepare department correspondence and memos as needed.

Maintain accurate files. Assists with the filing of associate paperwork.

Maintain accurate open position log. Ensure job descriptions and job postings are accurate and relevant. Manage posting to ensure they are kept up to date.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1-2 years previous experience in Human Resources in hotel setting preferred. Strong recruitment experience preferred.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and co-workers. Ability to effectively deal with associates and external guests, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, resolve conflicts and collect accurate information. Must be willing to pitch-in and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. Bilingual abilities are a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee is often required to sit and use his or her hands and fingers, to handle or feel. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
