Job Description

BASIC FUNCTION: The Outdoor Services Attendant serves as a primary team member and initial point of contact for all outdoor services activities at the Lighthouse Resort. This position is responsible for working in and around the marina areas. In times of need, these employees may be utilized across several areas. Each attendant must be sufficiently trained to perform all functions at the assigned primary station.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Must be well groomed, with nametag on at all times while working on the property.
Must be well-mannered and deliver outstanding customer service, making every effort to accommodate customer needs.
Must coordinate operation of outdoor services stations with other departments in the resort.
Ability to operate a power boat while pulling guest while water skiing or water tubing.
Provides information on park and resort activities and policies.
Provide assistance in other job classifications as determined necessary by immediate superior.
Coordinate and provide daily group activities with children
Insure the safety of patrons and staff through accident prevention, enforcing all facility and recreation location rules and regulations.
Respond quickly to all emergencies in the facility and administer assistance.
Have a thorough knowledge of rules and regulations with regard to the instruction and proper use of recreation equipment.
Clean boat and boat lift station, park administration building, and multipurpose building.
Must be able to deal with guest issues, reporting all problems to your immediate supervisor.
Must be able to thoroughly clean boats/vehicles using potentially harmful chemicals to the skin (i.e. bleach).
Inspects property and make notations of issues within these areas.
Maintains appropriate paperwork. Completes shift paperwork within Resort Accounting guidelines.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
To assist other departments as required.
Will perform additional duties as requested by the Resort Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
Perform all duties in a professional manner and in accordance with company policies.
Flexibility to work a varied schedule due to business levels and industry demand.
Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Give clear and concise directions to various locations in the resort.
Answer guest questions using excellent customer service skills.
Must have valid Driver’s License.
Must have CPR/AED certification.
Wisconsin Boater Education certification required.
