We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Ranger/ Front Desk agent / Security at our property in Lakehills, Texas. This position is primarily a front desk agent with strong customer service experience. This position will also involve security of our campground. This position includes patrolling the grounds of the campground answering questions, enforcing rules and ensuring the safety of our guests and their belongings. The ideal employee would be able to handle any stressful situation in a calm manner and react accordingly.


Greet and register incoming members and guests as they arrive at our campground.

Must be flexible on working, days and hours, we are open from 7 am to 11 pm, 365 days a year.

Able to work holidays.

Maintain front entrance and ranger station appearance.

Distribute information to members and guests upon arrival and respond accurately to questions regarding park rules and regulations.

Provide detailed reservation information to manager on as needed basis.

Record and secure all fees collected at ranger station.

Answer telephone/radio calls and relay messages to staff and members.

Make reservations in person and respond to high volume of inquiries.

Process reservations or cancellations in DigiRez, our point of sales system.

Handle cash and process credit card charges for reservations or other purchases by members and guests. Reconcile cash/credit records.

Secure facilities and amenities.

Intervene in resort disturbances and respond to member and guest complaints.

Patrol the resort to ensure resort rules and policies are being followed.

Must be dedicated to working in a team atmosphere

Detail Oriented

High school diploma or equivalent is required, along with computer skills to use our system.

Previous experience working in security is a plus.

Basic reading, writing, math, and good computer skills are necessary.

Excellent communication.

Strong customer service skills and ability to problem solve.

Knowledge of and experience working within the RV business is a plus.

Uniform tops will be provided by park. Team member to follow our uniform policy.

High school diploma or equivalent is required. 1-3 years experience in a customer service environment as well as experience working with a point of sales computer system. Basic reading, writing, math and solving abilities are also required. Knowledge and experience working with the RV business preferred.

Physical demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl and talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands, arms, climb or/and balance. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities requiring by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
