Job Description

Responsible for maintenance and upkeep, cleanliness of public areas attentiveness to guests, while projecting Radisson Blu Hotel's standards of service practicing the Yes I Can! Behaviors every day with every guest interaction and professional hospitality at all times.



1. Creates guest satisfaction and exceeds expectations by providing the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality.



* Perform all shift checklist responsibilities & reporting requirements

* Be familiar with property, departments, hours of operation and services of the hotel

* Answer basic Housekeeping related questions

* Assist team with training, supplies and support in order to consistently provide quality guest rooms and public areas

* Comply with federal laws and break periods

* Proper maintenance of hotel keys and electronic cards (key control)

* Complete maintenance work orders and deliver to the supervisor in a timely manner

* Maintain a clean and organized work area

* Turn in all lost and found items in accordance with lost and found procedures

* Complete job specific checklist on a daily basis

* Clean employee locker room twice daily

* Maintain cleanliness of outside building

* Monitor elevator cleanliness

* Dust and clean lobby furniture

* Responsible for overall cleanliness of lobby and public areas

* Actively participate in housekeeping's 'deep clean' or 'preventive maintenance' programs

* Participate in all departmental meetings

* Participate in required training programs

* Report any damage, hazard repairs to your immediate supervisor

* Report any suspicious activity in hallways or in the Radisson Blu Hotel facilities

* Respond to any projects or requests developed by the Housekeeping Management team.

* Refer to the daily event sheet to direct the guests to the correct meeting room

* Performs other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality



2. Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Radisson Blu experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of, genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations



* Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service and experience

* Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems

* Provides Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis

* Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction

* Performs other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality



3. Performs other duties as required by Management to provide 100% Guest Satisfaction and genuine hospitality to our Guest.



REQUIREMENTS:



* Ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year hospitality experience in housekeeping

* High school diploma or GED required

* Strong verbal and interpersonal skills

* Works well independently or as part of a team

* Strong attention to detail

* Commitment to exceptional guest service

* A positive attitude

* Adhere to the policies and procedures of the hotel

* Must possess an understanding of the English language with the ability to speak, read and write to effectively communicate with other team members

* Multiple language abilities a plus, English required.



PHYSICAL DEMANDS:



* Perform repetitive hand and arm movements

* Must be able to squat, bend, kneel and twist

* Ability to stand for long periods of time

* Ability to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling, and bending) for extended periods of time.

* Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists.

* Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear.

* Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hand above shoulders.

* Ability to occasionally, regularly, frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 50 pounds.

* Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion.

* Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment
