Paséa Hotel & Spa is seeking a Public Area Attendant to join our team!

Job Summary:

The Public Area Attendant cleans all public areas including entrances, doorways, sidewalks, restrooms, restaurants, meeting areas and lobbies. The Public Area Attendant also reports damage, mechanical deficiencies, suspicious activities or theft.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Sweeps, mops and vacuums floors in assigned areas according to department procedures
  • Dusts all furniture, pictures and polishes wood, marble and other materials in public view.  
  • Cleans glass windows, doors and partitions
  • Empties trash receptacles and replaces trash bags
  • Thoroughly cleans restrooms
  • Immediately reports any noted repairs or maintenance of guestroom, public areas, or back of the house areas

Job Requirements:

  • Prior housekeeping experience
  • Requires ability to serve needs of guests through verbal interactions
  • Ability to work on AM, PM, weekend and holiday shifts as required by operational needs

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prior hotel experience

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, use hands to reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to lift/move and exert around 50 pounds of force occasionally, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard, calculator and other office/IT equipment.

The new Paséa Hotel & Spa is a short walk from the Huntington Beach Pier, which draws an estimated 16.3 million visitors annually.  The property will be designed by renowned international hotel architect WATG, with the guest rooms designed by Monogram by Callison, interior public spaces by Kay Lang + Associates, and the restaurant and bar by Costa Mesa-based Hatch Design Group.
