Job Description

To complete banquet prep functions and produce/maintain a quality food product.  Must use proper food handling and storage techniques and follow all kitchen sanitation standards.  Position involves banquet prep, food handling/storage and help with commissary duties in the cafeteria.  

Job Requirements

Required: Must have six months of kitchen (prep/cook/school) experience.  Must be available for shifts any day of the week with minimal schedule restrictions, AM and PM shifts (Anticipated shift will be 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, or as needed to meet business demands.)   Must have hospitality-focused qualities and a courteous demeanor.  Valid Food Handler’s Card required before start of employment.   One year of kitchen experience may be helpful but is not required.  Good communication skills are a must.  Must actively support the hotel’s environmentally responsible business practices and embrace our Declaration of Excellence.
