Position Description:

The ideal Concierge will welcome guests upon arrival to the hotel's Executive Lounge, recommend hotel amenities and ensure a pleasant experience. Be knowledgeable and able to recommend local attractions to include restaurants, entertainment, museums, etc. This candidate will also be trained as a Front Desk Clerk where the candidate will greet guests in a pleasant, professional and efficient manner, process check-ins and check-outs, issues room keys, answers questions, and resolves guest requests.

The Front Desk Clerk/Concierge will have the following responsabilities:

1. Set the tone for the guest experience, greet guests in a warm and friendly manner
2. Check-in and check-out guests
3. Resolve guest requests
4. Answer inquires pertaining to hotel services, registration, shopping, dining and travel directions
5. Handle cash and credit card transactions, process guest accounts upon checkout in an efficient and accurate manner
6. Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
7. Performs any other job related duties as assigned.
8. Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
9. Serve, re-stock lounge amenities such as food, water, sodas, alcoholic beverages, etc
10. Work schedule is mainly Sunday through Thursday, but it may vary based on business volumes
11. Recommend hotel amenities and local attractions
12. Assist guests with mail, messages, and any plans or arrangements they require
13. Focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
14. Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
15. Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
16. Performs any other job related duties as assigned.

1. Previous customer service experience required, previous concierge experience preferred
2. Must be flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
