Job Description:

To prepare all hot/cold food items. Be responsible for consistency and quality production and ensure all food is served according to specification.

Responsibilities:

* Hands on position responsible for The Point Restaurant's PM a la carte food production.
* Work closely with Executive Chef and team on all matters relating to the kitchen.
* Maintain kitchen sanitation in accordance with health department guidelines.
* Must insure a high standard of cleanliness, organization and hygienic practices according to hotel standards.
* Assist Executive Chef and team with menu cretion, overall kitchen operations, daily specials and ordering.
* Communicate with all front of house and back of house managers and Director of Food & Beverage on all issues and activity in the kitchen.
* Support any position in the kitchen and perform additional duties as needed.
* Eager to learn, creative, and ability to uphold Executive Chef's standards.

Qualifications:

* Fine dining restaurant cooking experience a plus.
* Must be flexible and available to work between the hours of 12noon and midnight Monday through Sunday including weekends and holidays.
* Ability to multi-task
* Must possess basic knife skills.
* Must be able to stand for 8+ hours per day.
* Must possess good communication skills.
