Pastry - Commis 2

Position Objective: for you to further your
career and bring your previous experience to our pastry and support the daily production of high quality and consistent food
products thereby contributing to and supporting the reputation of our hotel.

Summary of Responsibilities:

* organization organize prestige kitchen work according to the menu
* Monitor and maximize the kitchen work efficiency
* prepare for the following menu items and services
* Prepare a salad and spices
* Preparation and launch the appetizers
* Prepare and appetizing dishes
* Preparation and launch a sandwich
* A planning process and scheduling ability of organization
* Storage appetizer, delicacies, salad and sandwiches
* seasoning for menu items listed in hot and cold sauces
* To ensure quality and consistency
* -eggs, vegetables, fruits, rice and starchy food
* Going to contain and rice, grains and beans food dishes
* Preparation and launch dishes containing eggs
* Store eggs, rice, vegetables, fruit and starchy menu item
* - going to poultry and poultry/game dishes/venison dishes
* - meat food preparation, and meat
* Prepare meat marinade
* Cut with meat
* - fish/shellfish seafood dishes
* Preparing and cooking fish and shellfish
* Preparing seasonings for fish and shellfish dishes
* For fish dishes to choose and use the proper dishes and decoration technology and service mode
* - dessert, cake and fermented food preparation and launch and fermented foods
* Assist to prepare fermented food
* Distribution and storage of cake and fermented foods
* - hot/cold dessert
* Ready to hot/cold dessert
* Decoration, distribution, and launch a dessert
* Store the dessert

Qualifications:

We are looking for a well organized and creative candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is able to display a “passion for perfection” and work in a dynamic environment. In addition, the candidate should possess:

* Previous service experience an asset

* Previous point of sale system experience an asset, but not required

* Highly responsible & reliable

* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

* Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team

* Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Physical Aspects of Position:

Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:

* Constant standing and walking throughout shift

* Frequent lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs

* Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting

* Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
