Position is Part Time Only
Essential Functions: Directly supports the General Manager and Hotet Operations team.
Handles phone calls to include reservation inquiries, guest requests, corporate requests, etc., requests for information. Handles guest complaints with appropriate departments; ensure prompt response and follow-thru Oversees overall requirements of Executive Office - supplies, safety and maintenance, cleanliness, upkeep.
Manages all Trip Advisor Responses, follows up as needed
Makes reservations for VIP guests, generates welcome letters, arrange amenities, etc. Composes all guest correspondence and follows up when necessary. Supervises the hotel's payroll process and ensure timely completion. Works directly with HR for all associate events, associate communications and maintains and updates associate files and attendance records and ensures their confidentiality and security.
Acts as a direct liaison to corporate office departments Manages, follow-up and expedite completion of specially assigned projects. Assists in budget related tasks as needed.
Experience and Qualifications:
College Degree required Minimum of 2 years administrative assistant experience required, Direct experience in the hospitality industry strongly preferred. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision and maintain composure in stressful situations. Computer literate: advanced knowledge in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint is required. Opera, Kronos and Delphi strongly preferred. Excellent communication skills - both oral and written (business writing necessary). Must be detail oriented with the ability to follow through on special projects EOE
